The Class Registration component automates the registration and coordination of training classes. Much like the RSVP component, Class Registration allows a class instructor to arrange and broadcast an announcement of the class through the Web site administrative interface. Recipients can then return to the Web site, key in their email address and password, and then fill out a quick form to register online.
Class instructors can quickly view a head count to see who is coming, who is not and who hasn't responded yet. A report showing the names of attendees can be viewed at the click of a button, and names of attendess can be exported for use in spreadsheets or to create name tags for the event. The Class Instructor can also cancel or reschedule the class at the touch of a button. Attendees and invitees are instantly notified via email of the cancellation, eliminating hours or phone calls and voice mail messages.
The system will automatically send out a reminder notice prior to the event to all who have accepted the online invitation. Additionally, the system will sent out up to 3 'nag' emails to those who haven't yet registered, encouraging them to do so as soon as possible.
